Istanbul Commerce University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Industrial Design Department Undergraduate Program aims to train distinguished, professional, active and creative designers at national and international levels who can integrate, use smart technologies, produce economical solutions. The program prioritizes future graduates being able to design to contribute to human life, accurately analyze people and society’s needs, be conscious about the environment, follow new professional and technologic developments, develop a sense of aesthetics and build knowledge. The department aims to provide knowledge and skills in technology, production, management, marketing, and organization in addition to vocational education. Our industrial design department has academic practice-oriented education properties. One of our goals is to use internal and external motivation to transform all the knowledge and skills acquired by students into practice in appropriate fields. The education program supported by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce can adapt to changing world conditions and exhibit an educational approach that adapts to developing technologies and concepts. In our department, compulsory and elective courses, which are carried out theoretically and practically, and project-based courses are given in accordance with the requirements of the era and new technologies. It is possible for students to have the opportunity to link their training with the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the factory and office internships and get a fuller understanding of their profession.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
