For English Master\u2019s Programs, candidates must have obtained at least 65 points from the YDS\/Y\u00d6KD\u0130L exam administered by \u00d6SYM, or an equivalent score from one of the internationally recognized foreign language exams whose equivalency is accepted by the Interuniversity Board. Candidates who do not have a language certificate are required to take a foreign language exam administered by the university.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"674\">Different requirements may be requested on a program basis. For details, please contact the relevant institute.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"1259\">For admission to the Business Administration (English), Economics (English), and English African Studies programs (for the International Relations Master\u2019s Program, at least 55 points from the Foreign Language Exam administered by \u00d6SYM), applicants are required to have at least 65 points from the Foreign Language Exam administered by \u00d6SYM or an equivalent score from an international English language exam whose equivalency is accepted by the \u00d6SYM Executive Board; candidates who do not meet this requirement are required to pass our University\u2019s Foreign Language Proficiency Exam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1288\">Education \u2013 Instruction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1377\">Classes are held on weekdays between 18:30 and 21:30, and when necessary, on weekends.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1564\">Graduate education at our University is conducted simultaneously at the S\u00fctl\u00fcce and K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckyal\u0131 campuses, and new programs may be implemented at both campuses in line with academic needs.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1650\">Thesis Master\u2019s Programs consist of 8 courses, a seminar course, and a thesis study.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1722\">Non-Thesis Master\u2019s Programs consist of 10 courses and a term project.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1771\">Class attendance is mandatory at a rate of 70%.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1773\" data-end=\"1949\">In order for a student to be eligible to enter the master\u2019s thesis defense, it is required that their article be published in a national or international peer-reviewed journal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1951\" data-end=\"2199\"><strong data-start=\"1951\" data-end=\"1985\">Scientific Preparatory Courses<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1951\" data-end=\"2199\">Scientific preparatory courses are offered to candidates who have obtained their undergraduate degree in fields different from the master\u2019s program they are applying for, in order to compensate for deficiencies.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2201\" data-end=\"2292\">Scientific preparatory courses are non-credit courses and are subject to an additional fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Master\u2019s Programs Admission Requirements Applicants for the Master\u2019s Program are required to have at least 55 points from the relevant ALES* score type.
