1. Development and Approval of Education Programs:
1.1. The Council of Higher Education (Y\u00d6K) determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the establishment of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.<\/p>\n
1.2. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to students are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the fundamental principles set by Y\u00d6K on these matters.<\/p>\n
1.3. After the curricula of the National Core Education Programs are approved by the relevant Council of Deans, they are implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of Y\u00d6K.<\/p>\n
2. Measurement and Evaluation:
How the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to students are measured and evaluated is carried out in accordance with the education, training, and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in line with the fundamental principles determined by Y\u00d6K on these matters.<\/p>\n
3. Certification:
Students enrolled in undergraduate programs receive a bachelor\u2019s degree diploma upon successfully completing the course credits and other requirements determined by higher education institutions.<\/p>\n
4. Self-Evaluation \u2013 External Evaluation:
Within the scope of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter the \u201cInstitutional Internal Evaluation Reports\u201d of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Council (Y\u00d6KAK) at the beginning of each year. Y\u00d6KAK shares with the public the \u201cInstitutional Feedback Report\u201d it prepares regarding the external evaluation of higher education institutions.<\/p>\n
In addition, accreditation decisions issued by accreditation organizations authorized or recognized by Y\u00d6KAK indicate that quality assurance of the programs\u2019 qualifications has been ensured.
