For English Master&#8217;s Programs, candidates must have obtained a minimum score of <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"191\">65<\/b> from the <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"203\">YDS\/Y\u00d6KD\u0130L<\/b> exams conducted by \u00d6SYM, or an equivalent score from one of the international foreign language exams accepted by the Inter-university Board. A foreign language exam is administered at the university for candidates who do not possess a language certificate.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Different conditions may be required on a program basis. Please contact the relevant institute for details.<\/i><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">For admission to <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"17\">Business Administration (English)<\/b>, <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"52\">Economics (English)<\/b>, and <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"77\">African Studies (English)<\/b> programs (a minimum of 55 from the Foreign Language Exam conducted by \u00d6SYM is required for the International Relations Master&#8217;s Program), the requirement is a minimum score of <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"279\">65<\/b> from the Foreign Language Exam conducted by \u00d6SYM or an equivalent score from an international English foreign language exam accepted by the \u00d6SYM Executive Board. Candidates who cannot meet this requirement are required to be successful in the University&#8217;s <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"538\">&#8220;Foreign Language Proficiency Exam&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\">EDUCATION AND INSTRUCTION (MASTER&#8217;S)<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"8\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\">Classes are held between <b data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"25\">18:30 \u2013 21:30 on weekdays<\/b> and on weekends when necessary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\">Our university&#8217;s graduate education is conducted simultaneously at <b data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"67\">S\u00fctl\u00fcce<\/b> and <b data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"79\">K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckyal\u0131<\/b> campuses, and new programs can be implemented in both campuses in line with academic needs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Master\u2019s Programs with Thesis<\/b> consist of 8 courses, a seminar course, and a thesis study.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Non-Thesis Master\u2019s Programs<\/b> consist of 10 courses and a term project.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,4,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,4,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">70% attendance<\/b> is compulsory for the courses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,5,0\">In order for the student to take the master&#8217;s thesis defense, they must have an <b data-path-to-node=\"8,5,0\" data-index-in-node=\"80\">article published<\/b> in national or international refereed journals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Scientific Preparation Courses<\/b><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\">Scientific preparation courses are provided to candidates who have received their undergraduate degrees in fields different from the master&#8217;s program they applied to, in order to eliminate deficiencies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\">Scientific preparation courses are <b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"35\">non-credit<\/b> courses and are subject to an <b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"76\">additional fee<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"12\">APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR PHD PROGRAMS<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"13\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\">Candidates applying to the PhD Program with a Master&#8217;s degree must have obtained a minimum score of <b data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"100\">55<\/b> in the relevant <b data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"119\">ALES<\/b> score type.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\">For the PhD Program, a minimum score of <b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"40\">55<\/b> from the <b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"52\">YDS\/Y\u00d6KD\u0130L<\/b> exam conducted by \u00d6SYM (minimum <b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"95\">65<\/b>for the <b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"106\">Business Administration English<\/b> PhD program) or an equivalent score from one of the international foreign language exams accepted by the Inter-university Board is required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\">Candidates applying to the <b data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"27\">Private Law<\/b> PhD program and the <b data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"59\">International Trade and European Union Law<\/b>PhD program must have completed their undergraduate education in the field of &#8220;Law&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\">A YDS\/Y\u00d6KD\u0130L score of <b data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"22\">65<\/b> is required for English programs, and <b data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"63\">55<\/b> for the Political Science and International Relations program.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\"><i data-path-to-node=\"14\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Different conditions may be required on a program basis.
