Our academic journey is marked by significant milestones in growth and specialization:<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2013\u20132014: Foundation<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">The department first opened its doors during the 2013\u20132014 academic year under the <b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"83\">Faculty of Applied Sciences<\/b>. At its inception, the program was named <b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"152\">International Logistics<\/b>, focusing on the fundamental pillars of global trade and supply chains.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"10\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2016\u20132017: Academic Transition<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">After three successful years within the Faculty of Applied Sciences, the department was integrated into the <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"108\">Faculty of Business<\/b> starting in the 2016\u20132017 academic year. Along with this transition, the program was renamed <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"221\">International Logistics and Transportation<\/b>. During this period, the curriculum followed a hybrid model of instruction, with <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"345\">30% of the coursework delivered in English<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"12\"><b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2020\u20132021: Strategic Rebranding<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">In line with the Department Board&#8217;s decision for the 2020\u20132021 academic year, our department officially adopted the name <b data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"121\">Logistics Management<\/b>. To ensure a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the complex local and international logistics regulations for our students, the medium of instruction was transitioned to <b data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"324\">Turkish<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">Today, the Department of Logistics Management continues to evolve, blending its rich history with modern industrial requirements to graduate the next generation of supply chain leaders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>History of the Department The Department of Logistics Management has undergone a strategic evolution to align with the changing dynamics of the global industry.
