{"id":1312,"date":"2025-01-26T23:31:15","date_gmt":"2025-01-26T20:31:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ticaret.edu.tr\/lojistik-yonetimi\/?page_id=1312"},"modified":"2026-01-25T18:59:28","modified_gmt":"2026-01-25T15:59:28","slug":"graduate-transfer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/ticaret.edu.tr\/lojistik-yonetimi\/en\/graduate-transfer\/","title":{"rendered":"Lateral Transfer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 data-path-to-node=\"5\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Lateral Transfer (Yatay Ge\u00e7i\u015f)<\/b><\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Successful students who have completed at least one semester in a graduate program at a department within the university or at another higher education institution (excluding the scientific preparation period) are eligible to apply for lateral transfer to our graduate programs.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">1. Eligibility and Admission Criteria<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">To be admitted to a graduate program via lateral transfer from another university\u2019s institute, candidates must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"9\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Academic Standing:<\/b> The student must have completed at least one semester of graduate study at their initial institution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Course Success:<\/b> The student must have successfully passed all courses taken at the previous institution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Admission Standards:<\/b> Candidates must satisfy the current student admission requirements of the specific graduate program they wish to join at <b data-path-to-node=\"9,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"142\">Istanbul Ticaret University<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"10\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2. Internal and Programmatic Transfers<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\">The same criteria and conditions apply to the following types of transitions:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"12\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12,0,0\">Transfers between different institutes or departments within <b data-path-to-node=\"12,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"61\">Istanbul Ticaret University<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12,1,0\">Transfers between <b data-path-to-node=\"12,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"18\">Master\u2019s with Thesis<\/b> and <b data-path-to-node=\"12,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"43\">Master\u2019s without Thesis<\/b> programs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"13\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">3. Course Equivalency and Recognition<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">The determination of which previously completed courses will be recognized for the current program is conducted through a formal evaluation:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"15\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"15,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Proposal &amp; Approval:<\/b> Course recognition is based on the proposal of the relevant Department Head and the final decision of the <b data-path-to-node=\"15,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"127\">Graduate School Administrative Board<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"15,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Equivalency Assessment:<\/b> The Graduate School Board evaluates the compatibility and equivalency of the credits and content of the courses the student has already mastered.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"16\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">4.
