Online Symposium entitled “The Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Turkey”

Date: June 30th, 2020

Venue: Istanbul Ticaret University

TIMETABLE of the SYMPOSIUM

The COVID-19 pandemic, which broke out in China at the beginning of 2020 as an epidemic and has now become a structural problem for the whole world, affected every field in many ways. Undoubtedly, within the scope of a world agenda prioritized by health issues and related measures, it has become necessary to discuss in detail the general economic situation, the damages caused by the pandemic process and the basic recommendations in relation thereto. After this pandemic, which is stated to be brought under control worldwide as soon as possible, bigger problems inevitably await both the world and our country.

In this context, in the National Symposium entitled “THE EFFECTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON TURKEY”, participants will submit their ideas for discussion on the current and possible effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, both during and after the pandemic process, with a specific focus on Turkey. It is expected that these ideas and the respective discussions will bring added value to the related debate. Scientists and researchers will be able to apply to participate in the scientific activity submitting the abstracts of their studies, and the abstracts, which are accepted, and are presented afterwards at the Symposium, will be published in the book of abstracts with an ISBN (International Standard Book Number).

“THE EFFECTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON TURKEY” Symposium is organized under the responsibility of the University-Business World Relations Application and Research Center and Leadership and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center of Istanbul Ticaret University, and their respective board of directors.

Our warm regards…
