GENERAL INFORMATION
International Trade and European Union Law Master’s Program aims to train practitioners and researchers who can adapt the notion of common law and the European Union on issues related to international trade law and follow developments in global law. International Trade Law and the European Union Program is born out of the idea to give a response to the legal requirements of globalization and Turkey’s European Union perspective.
Within this framework the fundamental topics of the program are comprised of the issue of economic impact of international trade; the national and international impact of economic globalization; the European Union’s legal and political structure.
The graduates will have the qualification to provide the consultation services for individual application to the European Court of Human Rights and other related matters and have the sufficient level of expertise to follow European Court of Human Rights and European Court of Justice case-laws in one of the original languages. Furthermore, the program graduates can take charge as a judge, lawyer, or a legal adviser in the field of international trade law and the European Union law, providing that they hold bachelor’s degree in law.
