Scope

The real estate sector and the provision and planning of urban transformation have become a field that requires multidisciplinary work in recent years. This sector is developing rapidly in our country as in developed countries. The real estate sector includes various professions ranging from the field development to urban design, planning and land production, building-environment design to building stock production, developing and managing necessary financial resources, administrative and private law applications, project management to human resources management. On the other hand, this graduate program covers the research and development of application models such as applications based on the transfer of development rights in urban transformation, value-based applications, finance certificate converted into securities, earthquake risk analysis models, project partnership or revenue sharing applications.

Goal

With the contributions of researchers and practitioners from different disciplines, it is aimed to contribute to candidates who aspire to make a career and specialize in project and capacity building, innovative methods. Within the framework of this program, it is aimed to provide individuals with high-level knowledge and expertise on  urban transformation through scientific and technical thesis and project studies. In addition, it is aimed to contribute to individuals who want to develop projects and capacity in central and local administrations and want to become experts in real estate development and management, urban transformation and management, planning and management, cultural heritage and management, seismicity and management, urban economy and management, environmental technologies and management.

Target

The real estate development and management master’s program targets local administrations, academics related to the subject, individuals working in public institutions and organizations, and private sector employees who are involved in project development and supply to institutions and organizations.
