We maintain communication with our graduates with a view to contribute to their personal development, provide assistance in their employment processes, and make improvements in our processes based on their feedback.
The graduates who would like to take advantage of our career counseling services first submit their requests to our Career Development Center, and can then benefit from the career counseling services through face-to-face, or facetime interviews via platforms such as Skype and Zoom, conducted by the officials in charge of our Career Development Center every weekday.

Alumni Follow-up System
We assist our graduates find a job by posting part-time and full-time job advertisements on our Career Portal, which can be accessed through the website of our Career Development Center, that is “kariyer.ticaret.edu.tr”. In order to apply for the job postings posted on the website, you, our graduates, first will need to create a member account by clicking on the “become a member” button located in the upper right corner of our Career Portal homepage, and then create your CV by typing the required information completely. After creating your CV, you will need to click on the “Log In” button located in the upper right corner of our Career Portal homepage, and type in your username and password, thereafter you can apply for any of the active job postings. We use our Career Portal also as an alumni follow-up system. Additionally, we use our Career Portal also as an alumni follow-up system. In this way, we direct the employment announcements that we think are suitable for our graduates who are actively looking for a job, directly to our relevant graduates. Furthermore, our Career Portal features the recommendations of many people from the business world under the “Career Advice” and “CEO Advice” tabs. You can learn about the relevant industries by reviewing these recommendations.
Trainings and Technical Excursions
We organize various trainings and technical excursions throughout the year in order to help our students and graduates with their personal development. Yet, we had to suspend our technical excursions for the time being due to the pandemic conditions. Nonetheless, we will start our technical excursions after the pandemic period is over as per the instructions of our University management. All of our graduates can participate in the events we organize throughout the year. Applications for training and technical excursions can be submitted through the website of our Career Portal, that is “kariyer.ticaret.edu.tr”.
Alumni Satisfaction Survey
As of 2021, we have been conducting a survey to systematically determine the satisfaction rates of our graduates regarding the trainings and other services they have received from our University. In this way, we are trying to improve our processes based on the opinions and suggestions of our graduates.
Alumni Reunion Events
Alumni reunion events include a variety of events held throughout the year, where our Rector, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and ITO President come together with our graduates. In these events, our guests share their experiences and give advices and answer the questions of our graduates.
Online Alumni Talks
In the Online Alumni Talks event, we come together with our alumni who are actively working in the business world on an online platform. At these events, our graduates share their experiences from their university years. In this context, we ask our graduates to provide answers to the following questions in particular and share their opinions and suggestions related thereto with our participants:

In our Online Book Talks event, we share the summary of a book we have read with our students and graduates through live broadcast on the @ticaretkamer instagram account of our Career Development Center, with a view to gain our students and graduates the habit of reading books and to ensure that they have information on the classic books.

Career Days is an event that we traditionally organize with the participation of leading national and international companies every year. With this event, our students and graduates get the opportunity to meet with the representatives of the participating companies. Due to the pandemic conditions, we will hold our 2021 Career Days event online using the zoom account of our University, and broadcast it live on the youtube account of our University. During the Career Days event, in addition to answering the questions addressed by the participants, representatives of the participating companies will also provide information on the following issues in respect of their own companies.
