Master’s Program in Human Resources Management is designed for those who choose to work in the field of human resources as well as for those who work in this field and strive to deepen their professional understanding. With this target and structure the program is aimed to give the students the ability to see the place of human resources function in the management body and to connect human resources practices with organizational strategy. In this context, the compulsory courses in the program provide a fundamental theoretical perspective on management and human resources management. Elective courses mainly have practical structure and offer students the opportunity to shape the program in line with their own preferences. Selecting courses from other programs within the Institute enables our students to use their preferences in a wider area.
The business world is changing rapidly. It does not seem possible to respond to this level of change with stereotyped information. For this reason, the master’s program in Human Resources Management is aimed not only to teach ready-made solutions, but to develop intellectual capacity with which the students can produce solutions according to changing conditions.
Our teaching method is structured heavily on homework. In the process of preparing their homework our students expand their theoretical knowledge with their own research. They have the opportunity to deal with real-life business practices by visiting companies and closely observing the way of functioning of business life. Therefore, with successful completion of the program, our students, also have a practice portfolio at their disposal.
If we evaluate the contribution of the program in terms of people working in business life, the program aims to provide them with the knowledge, skills, and personality qualities necessary for them to move from the level of expertise to a managerial position depending on their positions and abilities.
