Electrical and Electronics Engineering deals with the engineering problems and needs of electrical, electronic, computer, telecommunication systems and related industrial fields. This branch of engineering provides students with knowledge and skills in fundamental areas such as power generation, transmission and distribution, power electronics, electrical machines, control systems, communications, signal and image processing, microprocessors, microelectronics. This branch of engineering generally focuses on the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic devices and components, as well as their integration into complex systems. Electrical and Electronics engineers can work as design engineers, project engineers, quality control engineers, software engineers, research and development engineers, system design engineers, field engineers, test engineers and sales engineers in various industrial fields such as aviation, energy, informatics, health and automation, especially in the public and private sectors, or they can establish their own companies and operate in one of these fields. They can also pursue an academic career by taking postgraduate courses.
