Our department was officially established on March 9, 2011. It accepted its first students in the 2011-2012 academic year. It gave its first graduates in 2016. Istanbul Ticaret University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics (EE) Engineering aims to provide its students with an outstanding undergraduate education and to train engineers who will have specialized careers in their fields. The biggest supporter of the EE Department in achieving these goals is the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Education and Social Services Foundation, which is the founder of Istanbul Ticaret University, and thus the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, which has a considerable place in the Turkish economy with 81 professional committees and 400 thousand members, has been a pioneer in the competitive position of Istanbul Ticaret University in the fields of EE engineering.
