The 7th episode of the program called Near Plan, organized by the Department of Visual Communication Design of Istanbul Ticaret University, was broadcast live on Timm TV on Monday, April 25th in the TV Studio.

Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Gözde Sunal moderated the event, Sports Presenter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu came together with the students and talked about the importance of the role of the university when they take a business step, the lack of female dominance in the sector, and his sector experiences.

Yağız Sabuncuoğlu underlined that the applications he had made during his university days were integrated into his business life when he stepped into the sector and that lessons such as photography and camera brought him a lot in the sector.

Stating that “We turned our hobby into our job”, Sabuncuoğlu stated that transfer journalism was the golden key for him and that he enjoyed this job very much, that he enjoyed the meetings with the clubs, the events that took place abroad, and that he saw it as a hobby.

Sabuncuoğlu stated that football is watched more in undeveloped and developing countries, that there is a mass of people in our country who watch the team they like more, and underlined that we don’t like sports, we just watch it.

He emphasized that he publishes a news story after verifying its accuracy many times, that he closely follows the feedback for the news and that journalism starts every day.

At the end of the event, Department of Visual Communication Design Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Gözde Sunal presented the certificate of participation to news anchor Yağız Sabuncuoğlu.
