Moving up a Grade Level

Graduates of this program may apply to pursue education in postgraduate programs.

This page has been prepared to inform students in our department about the process of progression to the next year, academic level, or degree program.

In accordance with the relevant regulations, the transfer requirements, application procedure, and key rules are summarized below.

Transfer Requirements and General Principles

To progress to the next year or academic level, students must meet the following conditions:

Academic Achievement

  • In order to advance to the next year, a student’s Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) must be at least 2.00 (Article 31).
  • Students with a CGPA below 2.00 are considered to be on probationary status and may not advance to the next year until they complete the prescribed courses.

Completion of Compulsory Courses

  • Students must have successfully completed all compulsory courses taken in the previous term (Article 21).
  • For courses in which the student has been unsuccessful, the student is required to complete these courses first.

Credit Load and Course Selection

  • The maximum credit load a student may take in one term is 30 ECTS; students with a GPA of 3.00 or above may take an additional 6 ECTS (Article 24).
  • Students who have failed courses from lower years are required to complete these courses with priority.

Attendance Status

  • Students must attend at least 70% of course sessions. Courses failed due to absenteeism must be retaken (Article 25).
