Istanbul Ticaret University Media and Communication Studies Master’s Program offers an education and training alternative that will meet different expectations for those who want to pursue a career in both the media sector and the scientific field.

From traditional media to digital media, which has become effective in every field today, the program aims to train media professionals who are equipped with the qualifications demanded by the media and communication sector, who are candidates to have a say in their field, researchers, and media professionals who have gained the skills to produce original projects and media strategies. Likewise, great importance is attached to gaining academic and sectoral competence. In this context, it is among our main goals to train individuals who plan to pursue an academic career in the field of media and communication, who will be able to conduct scientific studies at national as well as international levels, who will gain an interdisciplinary perspective, and who can understand the media and analyze it critically.

The curriculum of the Media and Communication Studies Master’s Program, which offers two separate programs, with and without thesis (with project), has been prepared by considering the balance of theory and practice from an interdisciplinary perspective and is carried out by a competent academic staff. Like the theoretical courses, applied courses are taught by competent academics with sectoral experience and are supported by a strong technical expert staff.
