The department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is a four-year undergraduate program that aims to meet those needs by educating new professionals. The department’s main goal is to educate interior architects with the ability to combine knowledge and aesthetics to create economical solutions, as well as our conceptions of physical and socio-cultural limits are changing due to the changes and advances of modern science, technology and communication. With this purpose we aim to broaden their artistic, occupational and scientific horizons by participating in and creating national and international workshops, exhibitions and conferences. The domestic and international technical, cultural and research based excursions contribute to the communication, thinking, learning and inquisitorial abilities of the students. As part of the European Union harmonization standards, the undergraduate’s professional and cultural knowledge increases due to international exchange programs for students and academicians.

In our department we offer must and elective theoretical and practical courses, with advanced technologies. Our students have the opportunity to apply and improve their learned knowledge from their courses, work and get to know the field in a closer manner by office and building site internships. Aside from vocational education, the department demonstrates and teaches the students the technological advancements, production, management and organizational skills necessary for their field. The department’s main goal is to educate social, hard-working, research-oriented, creative, entrepreneurial, and job-ready professionals.
