Changes in Courses:

  1. Mandatory Organizational Behavior course in the fifth semester has been transferred from Basic Science Education category to Professional Science Education category.  Management and Organization course in the second semester provides the foundation for Organizational Behavior course. Management and Organization course covers the definition of behavior, basic research in the field of behavior, and classical and neo-classical management approaches. For these reasons, Management and Organization course has been deemed to provide a foundation for the Organizational Behavior course.

  2. Mandatory Organization Theory course in the sixth semester has been transferred from Basic Science Education category to Professional Science Education category. Mandatory Introduction to Business course in the first semester and Management and Organization course in the second semester provide the foundation for Organization Theory course. Introduction to Business/Management and Organization courses provide information that will form the basis for Organization Theory course, such as introduction to organizational theories and business history topics.

  3. The mandatory Human Resource Management course in the fourth semester has been transferred from Basic Science Education category to Professional Science Education category. The mandatory Introduction to Business course in the first semester and Management and Organization course in the second semester provide the foundation for Human Resource Management course. Introduction to Business course deals with the human resources function in businesses. Management and Organization course, on the other hand, deals with management in businesses, the qualities of managers and effective decision-making, management levels, and neoclassical business management. For these reasons, Introduction to Business course and Management and Organization course have been deemed to provide a foundation for Human Resource Management course.
