The Undergraduate Program in Business Administration began its academic activities in the 2001–2002 academic year. The first Head of the Department was Ömer Lalik, who served between 2001 and 2004. Prof. Dr. Erol Eren served as Head of the Department during the 2004–2005 period. Between 2005 and 2015, the department was chaired by Prof. Dr. Oğuz Uras. Prof. Dr. Beliz Ülgen served as Head of the Department from 2015 to 2019. Between 2019 and 2023, Prof. Dr. Ahu Tuğba Karabulut held the position of Head of the Department. Since 2023, the department has been chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sağlam. The department graduated its first students in the 2004–2005 academic year, with six students completing the program that year.
