Women and Family Application and Research Center

Our Istanbul Commerce University Women’s Studies Center aims to pave the way for women to reach a better level in social life by enabling women in our country to participate actively in social, political, economic and cultural fields.

Our center has the vision of supporting the active participation of women in decision-making mechanisms, and thus sees the empowerment of women and their equal rights with men as a condition of justice in order to be a more democratic, fair and developed society. In line with all these purposes, it aims to increase social awareness on women by carrying out activities such as summits, congresses, conferences, workshops, symposiums and media campaigns.
