Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement

The Department of Political Science and International Relations (English) at Istanbul Commerce University embraces academic quality and continuous improvement in higher education as one of its fundamental goals. Accordingly, all education, teaching, research, and social contribution activities carried out in the department are regularly monitored and evaluated within the framework of an effective quality assurance system.

In line with the principles of Higher Education Quality Assurance, academic and administrative processes are systematically developed based on student-centeredness, participation, transparency, and continuous improvement. The department aims to ensure that program outcomes are in line with current international developments, scientific innovations, and social needs; in this context, the opinions of students, graduates, academics, and external stakeholders are regularly collected and included in the evaluation processes.

The Department of Political Science and International Relations does not view its educational programs as limited to the transfer of knowledge, but aims to cultivate individuals who are capable of critical thinking, have developed analytical evaluation skills, are committed to ethical values, and possess a global perspective.
