Academic Productivity and Scientific Publications
The Department of Political Science and International Relations (English) at Istanbul Commerce University embraces academic productivity as one of its core values, encouraging faculty members and students to actively participate in scientific research, publications, and projects.

The work carried out within the department contributes to scientific knowledge at the national and international levels in areas such as international relations theories, foreign policy analysis, global governance, European Union studies, democracy, human rights, development policies, environment, and security.

In this regard, the Department of Political Science and International Relations aims to create an academic environment that strengthens critical thinking, scientific production, and policy-oriented research culture among both faculty members and students.

Academic work conducted by faculty members and graduate students in the department results in various types of scientific output. These publications and projects are primarily grouped into the following categories:

>Academic articles: Original research, theoretical studies, and policy analyses published in peer-reviewed national and international journals.

>Conference papers and presentations: Academic papers presented at national and international symposiums, conferences, and congresses.

>Books and book chapters: Books and compilation chapters published in fields such as political science, international relations, foreign policy, European Union, global security, and regional studies.

>TÜBİTAK, European Union, and other project reports: Reports and field analyses related to scientific projects conducted and completed within the scope of research support programs.

>Graduate thesis studies: Master’s and doctoral theses focusing on current political, economic, and international issues.
