Strategy Development Offices, Strategy Development Departments and Strategy Development Directorates have been established in the public administrations specified in Article 15 of the Law No. 5436 on Public Financial Management and Control Law and the Amendments to Certain Laws and Statutory Decrees. In accordance with the said Law, Strategy Development Department was established on June 17th, 2010, at our University to carry out the duties listed in Article 15 of the same Law and in Article 60 of the Law No. 5018 on Public Financial Management and Control Law amended by the Law No. 5436. Office of Strategy Development continues to serve as the Office of Strategy Development as of March 1st, 2021.
Functions and Structure of our Office are as follows;
- Strategic Management and Planning
- To coordinate the preparation of the strategic plan and performance program of the Strategic Planning Board and to support the consolidation of the results of this program, and
- To prepare the monthly administrative unit activity report of the University.
- Development of Performance and Quality Standards
- To develop performance and quality standards in matters falling under its task description,
- To collect, analyze and interpret information and data related to the development of services and performance,
- To carry out the development of the management information system, and
- To carry out the secretarial work of the University’s Quality Committee.
- Management Information System
- To perform services related to management information systems in cooperation with the relevant units, if any.
- To carry out the development of the management information system, and
- To keep the statistical records and to carry out the quality control processes.
- Other Functions
- To follow national and international rankings and to notify the senior management on these rankings, and
- To fulfill all duties assigned by the senior management.
