Spring Conferences 7- Identifying Consumer Expectations and the Importance of Innovation in Fashion Marketing

On May 23, 2024, a seminar titled “Detecting Consumer Expectations and the Importance of Innovation in Fashion Marketing” was held with Pınar Water and Beverage CMO Nazlı Ercilli Soylu within the scope of the Spring conferences. Soylu first talked about the importance of innovation in the retail sector and product. He stated that sectors only arouse interest in customers when there is an innovation, and that companies should view their innovation teams as an investment. He said that harmonizing with artificial intelligence in marketing is a strategic necessity and gave information on how to apply artificial intelligence in fashion retailing. He explained that since combining digital and physical experiences is a priority, this can be achieved through ways such as responsive e-commerce platforms, integrated customer profiles, click-and-collect services, and in-store technology integration. The innovation trends in fashion retailing were sustainability in fashion, digital and AR experiences, artificial intelligence and data analysis, wearable technology, 3D printing, blockchain and supply chain transparency, second-hand and vintage fashion, logistics and fast delivery innovations. At the end of the seminar, Head of Textile and Fashion Design Department Assoc. Dr. They presented a certificate of appreciation to Irmak Bayburtlu Çetinsoy Nazlı Ercilli Soylu.
