Our textile and ready-made clothing industry is the strongest production and export sector of our country. Firms directed their original ideas to production and marketing oriented designers. Our Fashion and Textile Design Department aims to train staff who have the capacity to create international fashion brands. Since our establishment in 2003, it has been constantly renewing itself and adapting new developments to its structure.

Starting from the 2019-2020 academic year, our department will accept students with Special Talent Exam; In our department, which will include the basic subjects of fashion, design, textile, leather, shoes, saddlery, textile management and textile marketing; Our students will specialize in common basic education in the first two years, and in Fashion Design, Footwear and Saddlery, and Textile Management and Marketing in the last two years. As a result of the interdisciplinary education system we have implemented, we aim to create a student model who has experience in all the necessary subjects, not a uniform student.

Our university, which has passed the European Credit System, allows students to spend a semester in a foreign European country through the Erasmus project and thus adapt to the outside world. Istanbul Chamber of Commerce; It does not spare its effective support for participation in international fairs and events, internship and finding a job after graduation.

We aimed to train designers who will introduce themselves to the world through national and international exhibitions, fairs, conferences, fashion shows and competitions. In order for our students to receive the highest level of education, we would like to see you, our students, among us, with the education model in which the student is the first.
