MA in CAPITAL MARKETS (THESIS & NON-THESIS)

As Türkiye’s first Institute of Trade and Finance, the Institute has structured its field of activity from an integrated perspective that aligns with Istanbul’s objective of becoming a global financial center. In this framework, the Institute adopts a comprehensive approach encompassing finance theory, management, and policy with a focus on both the public and private sectors, as well as financial economics and applied finance.

Mission
To educate graduates who can respond to evolving national and international needs in capital markets; who are committed to ethical values, socially responsible, capable of analytical thinking, and adaptable to the technological requirements of the contemporary era. The program aims to equip students with strong theoretical foundations alongside practical skills, foster a research-oriented culture, and continuously enhance educational activities through robust collaborations within capital markets.

Vision
To become a pioneering and preferred program that is recognized at both national and international levels in financial markets through its educational quality, academic expertise, openness to technological innovation, and strong partnerships established within capital markets. By enabling graduates to emerge as professionals who make a meaningful impact in dynamic capital markets, the program aspires to serve as an academic center that shapes and leads financial markets.

Another important aspect of the program is the structure of its courses. The courses are delivered by both academic faculty members and industry professionals who are experts in their fields, as well as specialists from the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB). In this way, the program aims to offer students an optimal combination of academic knowledge and practical market experience. The program is specifically designed to accommodate the needs and expectations of financial market professionals with demanding work schedules. Accordingly, class hours are scheduled during weekday evenings and weekends.
