Today, while the frequency and severity of ongoing risks such as economic and financial risks and risks arising from global warming are increasing, rapid technological advancements — both disruptive and transformative — are also emerging at an unprecedented pace. These developments give rise to new types of risks such as technology-driven unemployment and cyber risks, which negatively affect the sustainability of institutions and economies.

Accordingly, risk management and insurance have increasingly become among the most critical agenda items for institutions and economies worldwide. Consequently, the need for doctoral-level insurance and risk management professionals who can conduct both academic and applied studies in risk governance is steadily increasing.

Mission: To educate graduates who closely follow developments in the insurance field, are aware of sectoral needs, and can adapt to digital transformation.

Vision: To be a program that continuously updates itself and monitors sectoral developments at a global scale.
