Department Head Assoc. Prof. Cihat Köksal and representatives of the International Trade Student Community attended the 11th Türkiye Innovation Week event held at the Haliç Congress Center on 10-11-12 October 2024. With the support of the Ministry of Trade and hosted by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), this event is organised to grow the innovation ecosystem and support a sustainable future.

At this year’s event, remarkable panels such as ‘International Cooperation and Innovation’, ‘Out of the World: Innovation Beyond Borders’ and ‘New Horizons of E-Export’ discussed the contribution of global cooperation to innovation processes, the effects of digital transformation on e-export and the unlimited potentials offered by space. In addition, participants had the opportunity to listen to inspiring content from industry experts on topics such as ‘Turkish Type Innovation’, “Artificial Intelligence and Digitalisation “ and ”Startups Rewriting the Future ’.

Department and community representatives had the opportunity to closely observe the developments in the innovation ecosystem and establish both academic and sectoral connections. The team participated in panels on the contributions of innovation to international trade and aims to transfer this information to the department and students.
