Istanbul Ticaret University, supported by a major institution like the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, is one of the leading foundation universities that seamlessly integrates with the business world and prepares its students for their careers. The presence of expert and experienced academics at our university, along with their strong connections to the business sector, allows them to blend theoretical education with real-life cases and personal experiences. This was one of the most significant factors that made me feel fortunate throughout my academic journey.

Even after graduation, I continued to benefit from the knowledge and experience of my esteemed professors. Thanks to the support of academics such as Prof. Dr. Beliz Ülgen, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Demir, Prof. Dr. Öykü İyigün, and Prof. Dr. Figen Yıldırım, I had the opportunity to participate in international projects, prestigious competitions, and travel while expanding my professional network. These experiences gave me a competitive edge in the business world.

My university life was not just about attending classes. I actively participated in various student clubs, engaged in social responsibility projects, and organized events, taking full advantage of the opportunities provided by Istanbul Ticaret University. These activities not only contributed to my personal development but also helped me transition into professional life with greater preparedness.

Immediately after graduation, I secured a position at a leading international company in my field. The education I received and the efforts I put in during my university years played a significant role in achieving this success. My advice to new graduates or students struggling to shape their careers is to never hesitate to research and invest effort. University education should not be approached merely as a means to pass courses; rather, it should be truly understood and internalized.

Additionally, gaining multiple internship experiences, participating in association activities, and taking advantage of the resources provided by the Career Center are crucial. Without awareness and effort, it is easy to overlook the valuable opportunities the university offers. Despite all challenges, nothing is impossible or hopeless when dedication and hard work are involved.

I graduated from the International Trade Department of Istanbul Ticaret University in 2021. When choosing my university, my focus was entirely on the future. My dream was to play an active role in the business world, to create and to inspire creation. For this reason, I chose Istanbul Ticaret University, which embraces an educational approach directly connected to the business sector.

During the selection process, consultations with academic advisors and the detailed information provided by faculty members answered all my questions. From the preparatory year onward, I experienced a vibrant university life filled with events, seminars, and various courses. I obtained certifications in multiple fields, including software, foreign languages, Office programs, interview techniques, and sign language.

By actively participating in student clubs, I expanded my social network and even took on the presidency of a club, organizing numerous events with my fellow members. Additionally, I connected with the Career Center, completed a voluntary internship at a leading company in my field, and had the opportunity to attend various events hosted by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

My greatest advice to current students is to fully utilize the opportunities provided by the university and to expand their social networks. Istanbul Ticaret University is an institution that always supports its students and alumni. Taking advantage of these opportunities will provide significant benefits both academically and professionally.
