The aim of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Istanbul Commerce University is to provide engineer and engineer candidate students with a solid scientific and technical knowledge about the design, development, production and studies of electronic and communication systems. Our department has a teaching staff who are competent in their field and carry out theory and practice together. Our doctorate program educates engineers with outstanding doctorate degrees thanks to the research projects of our faculty members and the research opportunities of our institution. Electronics and Communication Engineers work on processing, transmitting, sensing, storing information such as data, audio and video, designing electronic devices and systems to fulfill these functions, antennas and electromagnetic field and wave theories and applications, physics of semiconductor electronic elements and production technologies. In addition, in parallel with developing technologies, Internet of Things, Data Security, Big Data Analysis are seen as our focus areas. Our graduates are employed as senior researchers in a wide variety of sectors, especially in electronics, communications, telecommunications, defense industry, research and education institutions. Our students have the opportunity to take part in joint projects, especially within the framework of our integration with Technopark Istanbul and agreements with companies such as TAI, CTECH and NETAŞ, and have the opportunity to be employed in these companies.
