Master’s Programs in Statistics with thesis and non-thesis options aims to train manpower capable of developing statistical theories and methods as well as bringing scientific solutions to problems that may arise in the application of social and administrative sciences by using technical knowledge such as Operations Research, Informatics and Statistical Information Systems

Another aim of this program is to train researchers and lecturers in the field of Statistics.

Graduate students in the Statistics program gain the ability to explain and interpret statistical results, select and analyze the appropriate analysis method to be used in solving the problems arising in the real, financial and service sectors, as well as the ability to follow and apply new developments in statistical techniques

In addition, students who have completed the graduate program in Statistics can work as a statistician in public and private institutions or continue their doctorate education in statistics.
