STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMS / ERASMUS

Details regarding graduate student exchange programs are regulated in the relevant article of the Istanbul Commerce University Graduate Education and Teaching Regulations:

Article 51:

(1) Inter-university student exchange programs may be implemented in accordance with agreements made between the University and other universities within or outside the country. In cases where this Regulation does not contain provisions regarding national and international student exchange, the relevant legislation shall apply.

(2) Periods spent at domestic or foreign higher education institutions within the scope of exchange programs and international joint programs are included in the maximum duration of study.

(3) Students coming under an exchange program are not considered University students and cannot benefit from student rights; however, they are subject to the academic and administrative rules applied to other students of the University. These students are not awarded a diploma or title; however, upon request, they are provided with a document (transcript) showing the courses they have taken and their grades at the University.
