Erasmus+ Program

As the Department of Economics, we support the Erasmus+ student exchange program in order to provide our students with international academic experience and opportunities on a global scale. Through the Erasmus+ program, our students can study at partner universities across Europe and enhance their academic development by experiencing different cultures.

What is Erasmus+?

Erasus+ is an exchange program supported by the European Union that offers opportunities for students, academic staff, and administrative personnel to study, teach, and receive training abroad.

What Can You Gain Through Erasmus+?

  • The opportunity to study for one or two semesters at universities across Europe,

  • International academic experience and cultural interaction,

  • Improvement of foreign language skills,

  • Recognition of courses through ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) compatibility,

  • Financial support through the Erasmus+ grant.


Application Requirements

Grade Point Average (GPA):

  • Minimum 2.20/4.00 for undergraduate students,

  • Minimum 2.50/4.00 for graduate students.

Language Proficiency:

  • A valid score from the Erasmus+ English Proficiency Exam administered by the university or an equivalent recognized exam.


Application Process

  • Online Application: Complete the Erasmus+ application form and upload the required documents.

  • Language Exam: Take the Erasmus+ English proficiency exam administered by the university.

  • Evaluation: Applications are ranked based on academic performance (GPA) and language scores.

  • Announcement of Results: Selected students are nominated and referred to partner universities.

  • Learning Agreement: The courses to be taken at the host university are determined and approved.
