Requirements and Rules for the Academic Degree to be Entitled to

Awarded Degree and Academic Level
Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive the following academic degree:

  • Awarded Degree: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Conferred Title: Economist

  • Academic Level of the Degree: Bachelor’s (First Cycle – Undergraduate)

Degree Requirements and Academic Regulations
Students are required to fulfill the following academic requirements:

  • Normal Duration of Study: The undergraduate program is planned for 4 years (8 semesters), and students are expected to complete their coursework within this period.

  • Maximum Duration of Study: The maximum duration of study for undergraduate programs is 7 years, starting from the semester in which the courses of the registered program are offered, regardless of whether the student enrolls in each semester.

  • Course Load: In order to graduate, students must pass all compulsory and elective courses included in the curriculum. To fulfill the elective course requirement, students must complete 12 departmental elective courses and 3 university-wide elective courses.
