Program for Concentration in Artificial Intelligence in Social Systems and Processes

“Program for Concentration in Artificial Intelligence in Social Systems and Processes” has been started in our department as of 2022.
The aim of the program is to provide students with a formation that has a solid theoretical basis and high practical value, built around artificial intelligence and related methods, one of the effective methods of the information age.

Through a series of courses ranging from programming to artificial intelligence algorithms, from modeling and simulation paradigms to economics and business intelligence, students acquire “problem solving” and “situation improvement” skills that have high functional value for real life.

Database Project

In our department, a database creation project has been initiated in order to present various microeconomic and macroeconomic data to all researchers in the academic field, primarily to the academicians of our university, in a way that can be easily processed and adapted to their studies.

Within the scope of the study, publicly available data, especially data open to access from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Electronic Data Distribution System (EVDS) and the Turkish Statistical Institute Data Portal, are categorized. Then, the data in question is organized according to the structure of the data in a way that can be presented to the end user as time series, cross-section and panel data.
