An important gathering took place within the Faculty of Business Administration. The Business Analytics course for second-year students in the Department of Business Administration, taught by Vice Dean Dr. Mefule Fındıkçı Erdoğan, provided students with a valuable experience by welcoming prominent figures from Istanbul Airport.
Şükrü Eyüpoğlu, CCO of TUM&TRU, a company closely connected to developments in the sector, and Berk Akçay, Business Development Manager, attended the course as guest speakers and held a friendly conversation with our students. Going beyond theoretical knowledge, students had the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals about real-life applications of business analytics and successful business development strategies.
Şükrü Eyüboğlu shared his extensive experience as CCO and insights into the business world in an engaging manner, while Berk Akçay explained the dynamics of business development and the processes involved in implementing new projects through examples. The guests sincerely answered students’ questions and also offered valuable advice to young people on their career journeys.
Dr. Mefule Fındıkçı Erdoğan stated that this special gathering was not merely a lesson for students but also an inspiring step toward their future.
At the end of the event, students took commemorative photographs with the guests to preserve the memory of this meaningful day. Following the event, our Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Elif Güneren Genç, welcomed the guests and thanked Şükrü Eyüboğlu and Berk Akçay for their valuable contributions. Emphasizing the importance of bringing students together with industry professionals through similar events for practical education, she highlighted the Faculty’s support in this regard.
