FACULTY OF BUSINESS – DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (ENGLISH)

Established in the 2001–2002 academic year, our department continues its educational activities at the Sütlüce Campus. The STAR accreditation, obtained in 2022, demonstrates that our department successfully meets national quality assurance criteria and prioritizes continuous improvement in its educational processes.

Our program features a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide up-to-date knowledge and skills in fundamental business areas such as management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and digital transformation. Furthermore, we instill analytical thinking, leadership, effective communication, ethical responsibility, and an entrepreneurial spirit in our students.

Our department offers various opportunities to provide students with international experience:

• Through the Erasmus+student exchange program, our students have the chance to study for one or two semesters at leading universities in Europe.
• As of the 2024–2025 academic year, our university has joined the Orhun Exchange Program conducted by the Turkic Universities Union. Within this scope, student and academic staff mobility is supported among 108 universities. This allows our students to gain international academic experience by studying in different countries and to enhance their competencies on a global scale.
• Additionally, thanks to Double Major and Minor programs, our students have the opportunity to acquire a second academic qualification in different fields.

International students from various countries also study in our department. This multicultural structure enhances our students’ ability to work with diverse perspectives, engage in intercultural interaction, and develop global awareness, thereby equipping them with social competencies that are of critical importance in the business world.

Our program adopts an approach that integrates theoretical knowledge with practice. Through internship opportunities, industry collaborations, project-based learning, and seminars, our students integrate into the business world while still studying. Consequently, our graduates distinguish themselves as well-equipped individuals ready for professional life.

Graduates of the Department of Business Administration (English) can shape their careers as managers, specialists, entrepreneurs, or analysts in private sector organizations, consulting firms, financial institutions, public institutions, and international organizations.
