
The Department of International Trade held an Erasmus Information Session on March 20, 2025, which attracted significant interest from students. The event took place at the Sütlüce Campus, and provided attendees with detailed information about the Erasmus program, including the application process and student experiences.
The session began with an opening speech by the Erasmus Coordinator of the department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cihat Köksal, who highlighted the academic and cultural opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program and encouraged students to consider studying abroad.
The event also featured Eline Dewanckele, a Master’s student in International Trade, and Tamirzhan Ilyakov, an undergraduate student, who shared their personal Erasmus experiences. They discussed various aspects of their time abroad, such as the application process, daily life, academic differences, and cultural adaptation.
In the final part of the event, participants had the chance to ask questions and receive answers, gaining further insights into the Erasmus program.
The session contributed to a better understanding of the Erasmus+ program from a student perspective and emphasized the academic and personal growth opportunities it provides.
