As part of the sector visit organized by the International Trade Department, our students visited Koçtaş’s Headquarters and the Viaport Shopping Center store.
In the first part of the day, detailed information about the company’s organizational structure, corporate culture, and agile working model was shared in the presentations held at Koçtaş Headquarters. Students also had the opportunity to listen to the experiences of managers working in different departments regarding their career journeys.
In the second part of the visit, the Koçtaş store located in Viaport Shopping Center was toured. Students observed store processes practically, from goods receiving to checkout. Afterwards, they participated in paint, electrical, and ceramic workshops at the Koçtaş Workshop and Development Academy, receiving technical training.
Thanks to this event, students had the opportunity to gain field experience in the retail sector and acquire different perspectives on business life.
