Software Engineering Department, which received approval from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in 2022, accepted its first students for the 2023-2024 academic year. Software Engineering, a sought-after profession today and in the future, is a priority for our country, particularly one that is compelled to develop value-added products. Our department’s curriculum is designed according to the needs of the Software industry and in collaboration with the Istanbul Ticaret Odası Informatics Sector Committee, aims to produce graduates qualified to participate in every phase of large-scale software development. Our department’s greatest supporter in achieving these goals is the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the founder of Istanbul Commerce University.
