The developments in new information and communication technologies have caused a change in the media sector. In addition to traditional communication tools, the dominance of the new media in the media sector is increasing day by day, increasing the need for qualified personnel in the sector. In this context, the Department of Media and Communication aims to train well-equipped individuals who can work in the media sector. Within this framework, the curriculum of the Department of Media and Communication has been prepared with an interdisciplinary perspective. Our students learn practically from academicians who are experts in their fields such as Informatics Practices, Communication Technologies and New Media, Photography, Radio and Television Journalism, Newspaper and Magazine Publishing, Multimedia Design and Social Media.

Our students have the opportunity to practice what they have learned in their classes at TİMM, radio and television studios. Our students periodically publish the Italik magazine and Haber Postası newspaper.
