Üniversitemizin Avrupa Birliği desteği ile Hollanda, İspanya, Macaristan ve Belçika’dan üniversiteler ile birlikte yürüttüğü “FORESIGHT – Future Oriented Education for Students Incorporating GSC in High-paced Times” başlıklı proje kapsamında İngilizce İşletme, İngilizce İktisat ve %30 İngilizce eğitim ve öğretim sunan İşletme Fakültesi lisans programlarında öğrenim görmekte olan 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri için 2019 Güz döneminde İngilizce bir ders olarak FORESIGHT isimli seçimlik bir ders açılacaktır.

Ders içeriğine ilişkin bilgi Ek-1’de sunulmuştur. FORESIGHT Rektörlük dersi 5 AKTS’lik bir ders olarak açılacak olup, 15 öğrencilik bir kontenjana sahip olacaktır.

Ders kapsamında öğrenciler küresel sorunlar, Birleşmiş Milletler sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleri gibi konular ile ilgili olarak araştırma çalışmalarında yer alacak, yine aynı çalışma kapsamında küresel sorunlara yerel inovatif çözümler, yeni iş fikirleri ve sosyal girişimcilik gibi alanlarda diğer proje ortağı ülkelerdeki üniversitelerden öğrencilerle ortak projeler geliştireceklerdir.

İlgili öğrenciler Ocak 2020’de Belçika’nın Antwerp kentinde gerçekleştirilecek olan bir haftalık bir çalışma toplantısına da tüm yol ve konaklama masrafları AB tarafından karşılanmak suretiyle katılım sağlayacaklardır.

Derse katılım için iki aşamalı bir değerlendirme yapılacaktır. Birinci aşama makale hazırlama ve ikinci aşama mülakat olacaktır.

Bu çerçevede dersi seçimlik ders olarak almak isteyen öğrencilerimizin, 2500 kelimeyi geçmeyecek şekilde hazırladıkları makaleleri en geç 11 Eylül 2019 saat 17.00’ye kadar abmerkezi@ticaret.edu.tr e-posta adresine göndermeleri gerekmektedir.

Makalelerle ilgili değerlendirme sonucunda projenin yürütüldüğü birim olan Avrupa Birliği Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi tarafından projede görev alan akademik kadrodan hocalarımızın yer aldığı bir jüri tarafından mülakatlar gerçekleştirilecek ve dersi alacak öğrenci listesi belirlenecektir.

Objectives

The objective of this lecture is to provide future analysis skills to the students to identify social and economic innovation opportunities and innovative business model development tools by using and understanding the concepts of grand societal challenges and sustainable development goals.

Expected Outcomes

The students will have the chance to analyse and understand the concept of grand societal challenges and sustainable development goals and their relationship between business and social innovation.

The students will be able to identify the social and business opportunities by studying on the GSCs.

The students will have to chance to use innovative learning and presentation tools to prepare social and business innovation models.

The students will develop their skills in an international co-working environment and benefit from other cultures in Europe.

Weekly Content

Annex – 2: GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATIONS- ESSAY WRITING

1- There ara four topics and one of those topics should be covered within the essay.

2- These topics are;

1. Income inequality and growth
2. Decent work and decent workplace
3. Climate change and its impact
4. Migration and its impact

3- The students are expected to answer the following questions in their essays.

1. Why did you select this topic?
2. How is your society affected from this topic?
3. How do you imagine the future of yourself and how will this topic affect your personal future?
4. How do you imagine the future challenges about this topic?

4- The essay should not be less than 2000 words and should not be more than 2500 words.
