Prof. Dr. Indira Saktaganova, Head of the Public Law Department of the Faculty of Law at L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan, which is in the 150-200 band in the World Universities Ranking, visited Istanbul Commerce University with her doctoral students.
Prof. Dr. Indira Saktaganova, during her visit with doctoral students Surkova Svetlana, Akmaral Saktaganova and Zhassulan Toleuov, met with our Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Asuman Yılmaz. Prof. Dr. Şahin Akıncı, Head of Private Law Department also took part in the meeting.
While the Kazakh delegation was getting information about Istanbul Commerce University during their visit, it was agreed to make a protocol between Istanbul Commerce University and L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University. In addition, it was decided to cooperate on internationally indexed Law Publications.
Kazakh academicians and doctoral students who will stay in Istanbul for a week will attend the undergraduate and graduate courses of Faculty of Law during this period. Prof. Dr. Indira Saktaganova said that their university sends doctoral students to universities in Europe as observer students, and they prefer Turkey and Istanbul Commerce University to use this opportunity.
During the visit, the Kazakh delegation presented the Kazakh national dress and various gifts to Rector Prof. Dr. Oğurlu and Dean Prof. Dr. Yılmaz.
