On the other hand, communication is one of the most important and prominent disciplines of today. Mass communication tools are rapidly developing, diversifying and increasing their impact and visibility in all areas of life with the influence of new technological developments, and at the same time, the need for communication experts in different fields is increasing. In this dynamic and complex process, the need for qualified education increases at the same rate. In this context, the mission of the Department of Media and Communication at Istanbul Ticaret University, Faculty of Communication is to develop students who are able to establish a systematic and strong connection between the present and the future in the light of the principles set by our university; who are open to all kinds of developments in the field of communication from traditional media to new media, which continues to develop rapidly by gaining a new dimension and content every day; have acquired the ability of free, original and analytical thinking; are strong in terms of professional and cultural equipment; can assume duties in different fields of communication according to their interests and abilities; can present their knowledge and application skills for the benefit of society; have initiative, self-confidence and ethical values.
