As stated in the Istanbul Commerce University Associate Degree and Bachelor’s Degree Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations (Appendix 1.1) published in the Official Gazette on June 22, 2011, under No. 27972;
Article 11- Students who successfully complete all compulsory courses accepted in the curriculum of their registered program, as well as the elective courses, practical training, and internships decided upon, shall be awarded an undergraduate or associate degree diploma, specifying the faculty, college, and department of the vocational school, and, if necessary, the program name, in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation. The decision to award a diploma is made by the administrative board upon the approval of graduation by a commission established by the relevant unit.
Article 35 (1) – The credits required for graduation, including compulsory courses and internships determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), are at least 120 ECTS credits for associate degree programs and at least 240 ECTS credits for bachelor’s degree programs.
Article 35 (2) – Students who successfully complete all compulsory and elective courses, practical training, and internships, and earn the required credits with a minimum GPA of 2.00, are eligible to receive a faculty bachelor’s degree, college bachelor’s degree, or vocational school associate degree, depending on the program they are enrolled in. Final-year students who have successfully completed all courses required for graduation but have not achieved a GPA of 2.00 may take an average upgrade exam for the courses of their choice, provided that their last grade is valid and they pay the exam fee.
To summarize the requirements for graduating from the Department of International Trade and Finance:
Completion of a minimum of 240 ECTS credits consisting of compulsory, elective, and university elective courses included in the 8-semester course plan,
Achievement of a minimum GPA of 2.00,
Completion of all compulsory and elective courses required to fulfill the curriculum and successful completion of these courses.
