As part of our university’s quality assurance system efforts, and to support the accreditation processes of educational programs, preparatory meetings for the accreditation process of the Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Economics (English), and Business Administration (English) departments within the Faculty of Business Administration were held on June 10-11, 2026, in collaboration with the Social and Human Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR).

In meetings organized by the Faculty of Business Administration, with the participation of the heads of the Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Economics (English), and Business Administration (English) departments, department representatives, and representatives from the Strategy Development and Quality Coordination Office; the supporting documents prepared after the application process, the documents to be shared, and the feedback reports were evaluated, and the roadmap to be followed within the scope of the process was clarified.
The meetings also addressed potential risks and areas for improvement in the accreditation process, and consensus was reached on feasible and sustainable improvement proposals for these issues.
These preparatory meetings, which are important for strengthening the self-assessment capacity of the departments and spreading a culture of continuous improvement, have once again demonstrated the importance our university attaches to institutional and program-based accreditation efforts. Our university is resolutely continuing its accreditation efforts in line with its goal of continuously improving the quality of education and increasing its prestige at national and international levels.
