As part of Orhun Seminars-3 organized by the Department of Mathematics at Istanbul Commerce University, Lecturer Aynur Darishova from the Department of Mathematics at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction delivered a seminar titled “Modeling of Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer in a Pipe with a Complex Profile.” Rector Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek also attended the event.

Organized by the Department of Mathematics, Orhun Seminars-3 was held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Rectorate Senate Hall of the Sütlüce Campus, Sâdâbâd Campus.

During the seminar, mathematical modeling approaches in the fields of fluid mechanics and heat transfer were discussed, and both theoretical and applied perspectives on the subject were shared with the participants.

At the seminar, which was also attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek, faculty members of the Department of Mathematics asked questions following the presentation, and academic views and evaluations were exchanged.

At the end of the seminar, faculty members of the Department of Mathematics and the participants held a question-and-answer session and engaged in a productive academic exchange of ideas.
