The Spring Gathering, organized by the Mathematics Club and the Erasmus Club of Istanbul Ticaret University, was held on Saturday, May 10, 2026, at Fatih Çeşmesi Nature Park.
The event brought together students from the Department of Mathematics and the Erasmus Club in a warm, friendly, and nature-filled atmosphere. Held between 09:00 and 18:00, the program offered students the opportunity to take a break from the intensity of the academic semester and enjoy a pleasant day with barbecue, various games, and conversations.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek, also attended the event and met with the students. During the gathering, our Rector had friendly conversations with students, listened to their views, experiences, and thoughts about university life. This sincere interaction added special meaning to the Spring Gathering.
Throughout the program, students had the opportunity to meet peers from different clubs, strengthen their social bonds, and spend quality time together. The event contributed to enhancing students’ sense of belonging to the university and helped them create memorable experiences.
As the Department of Mathematics, we would like to thank the students of the Mathematics Club and the Erasmus Club who contributed to the organization of this event. We hope that such activities, which support our students’ academic, social, and cultural development, will continue increasingly in the future.
