The first of the Mathematics and Multidisciplinary Approaches seminar series was held on Thursday, May 28, 2021 on the Youtube channel of Istanbul Commerce University with the contributions of the Mathematics Community.

In the program, Istanbul Commerce University Head of Mathematics Department Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek and Istanbul Technical University Physics Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yakup Hundur discussed a wide range of subjects. Several interesting topics such as the intersections of mathematics and physics, the place of mathematics and physics in human life, and the contribution of mathematics at the point where science has come were mentioned. The question of whether mathematics is a discovery or an invention was discussed from the perspective of both mathematics and physics. In the developing age, which sub-branches of both disciplines were on the rise found wide coverage. The event, where the personal adventures of the professors in the academy, their working disciplines and their views on science were also discussed, ended with the valuable advice they gave to the students.
