As part of the Mathematics Talks organized by the Department of Mathematics at Istanbul Commerce University, Prof. Dr. A. Muhammed Uludağ met with students and academics.
The talk titled “Science in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Sütlüce Campus (Sâdâbâd Campus) of Istanbul Commerce University. During the event, the impact of artificial intelligence—one of the most significant topics in today’s scientific world—on scientific production processes was discussed.
Prof. Dr. A. Muhammed Uludağ presented a comprehensive perspective by addressing the role of artificial intelligence in scientific research, its relationship with mathematics, and its future implications through various examples. Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to gain insight into the evolving understanding of science shaped at the intersection of mathematics and artificial intelligence.
The program began with an opening speech delivered by the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Yener. The event concluded with the presentation of a commemorative gift to the speaker by the Rector of Istanbul Commerce University, Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek. The well-attended program ended following a Q&A session.
